Gluten-free, Dairy-free & Delicious!

Tisha’s Delicious Bakery launched in January 2021

The seeds for this bakery grew in the soil of Tisha’s own gluten and dairy intolerance. After years of feeling left out in social settings and frustration with limited commercial options, (especially bread) she decided to take action and Tisha’s Delicious Bakery was born. For the first few years Tisha operated as a cottage baker in her home kitchen. In March, 2024 an opportunity for expansion unfolded and the bakery moved from Tisha’s home into a commercial space in Madison. Tisha is now baking for a growing list of wholesale customers in Mt. Horeb and Madison.

Our primary goal is to provide delicious options for people with gluten and dairy intolerance and celiac disease. An equally important goal is for those products to be so delicious that everyone will enjoy them. The happy outcome: an array of gluten-free and dairy-free breads including bread loaves, hamburger buns, and pizza crusts as well as a tantalizing selection of gluten-free and dairy-free donuts and cupcakes. Our products are available for pre-order in our online store, at local farmer’s markets, and in various local establishments. Visit our “Where to Buy” page to find our products in a store or cafe near you.

Our 3 Main Ingredients

Joy

in baking, in life, in deliciousness

Joy is that deep sense of satisfaction in a job well done. Joy is also the feeling of sharing good food with family and friends. And for those who are gluten-intolerant, joy is finding a loaf of bread or a sweet treat that makes you feel special. Joy is a life lived sustainably and in community.

SUSTAINABILITY

for the planet, for our bodies, minds, and souls

My packaging is intentionally chosen with sustainability in mind. Is it recyclable? Is it reusable? Is it compostable? And my business has to be sustainable so that I can continue to bake delicious gluten-free and dairy-free bread and other bakery items for years to come.

COMMUNITY

contributing to, forming, and expanding

Food should bring us together, not separate us from one another. But for many with food-based allergies or sensitivities, food can become a hindrance to community. I want everyone - people who are gluten-intolerant and/or dairy-intolerant or who have celiac disease and their family and friends to enjoy my products together. I want to include as many people as possible. around the table.
